For those of us who’ve been in the industry a long time, AI offers a chance to evolve, not by replacing what we do, but by expanding how we do it.

AI has given me more space to focus on the deeply human parts of my work — building trust, connection, and authentic relationships with clients. And while AI makes image creation more accessible, it still takes vision and skill to create something truly meaningful. There’s still room for professionals to stand out.

The Quality Original AI Photo Package begins with a real portrait session. From that foundation, we use AI to enhance your images where we can explore color, texture, new backgrounds, and even clothing variations while staying true to how you genuinely look and feel. My goal is collaboration and empowerment: using technology to help you present yourself in ways that are expansive, creative, and fun.

AI is reshaping how we create images at lighting speed and I believe photographers should be at the forefront of this shift. We can learn how to use it thoughtfully, ethically, and artistically. I stay within my values while using AI because I work only with my own original images, never borrowed content, and I use tools like Google Gemini for their cost, efficiency, and accessibility.

As a queer woman and working artist, I believe in the democratization of creativity, where tools like AI break down barriers, making it possible for more people to express their ideas freely, without gatekeeping or cost-prohibitive software. This is what keeps our creative world vibrant, inclusive, and alive.

All sessions will occur at the In Community Photography Studio in Sausalito, CA

What is the Quality Original Studio Portrait Session?

This is a new creative offering where we combine professional studio photography with the world of AI-generated imagery. You’ll come in for a session where I photograph you in a one to several looks where I coach you into a variety of poses/facial expressions and you end up with a few of a bunch of “Quality Original” images to use with AI. After your session, you can either use AI following my steps in the AI 101 Processing Booklet (can be purchased as an add on) or hire me to create a custom AI design package for you.

Can I use these images in any AI program?

Yes—that’s exactly what these sessions are designed for! The files are high-quality and optimized for AI post processing. 

Can I hire you to handle the AI design side for me?

Yes. You can add the AI Design Package service to any session. I’ll take your portraits and create some AI-generated versions aligned with your chosen concept.

Do I get to pick my background colors?

The basic and deluxe sessions include only a white background, but If you purchase the Premium packages, we’ll explore multiple backgrounds and lighting concepts.

What Should I Wear?

Bring a few options so you can see how different colors, shapes, and textures photograph. Two to three outfits is perfect.

Start with tops:

  • Choose solid colors that flatter your skin tone and mood — rich neutrals, muted tones, or pops of color that feel like you.

  • Bring a few different necklines you actually wear and like. Crew, v-neck, scoop, collared, or boat necks all create distinct lines and change how the light frames your face.

  • Think about sleeves and shoulders: do you want your arms to show, or do you feel more comfortable covered? Both look great — it’s about what helps you feel at ease.

Keep in mind:

  • Simplicity photographs best. Avoid small patterns, heavy logos, or very shiny fabrics

  • If you wear black often, bring it—it shapes light beautifully and always looks timeless.

  • Think about shapewear or undergarments that support you in the best ways possible.

Is makeup or hair styling included?

No, but I can connect you with trusted makeup artists who work in-studio. I host monthly pop ups with Christina Choi where she beautifully applies make up and you get a variety of background options.

When will I receive my images?

You’ll get your gallery within 7-10 business days unless we negotiate a rush turnaround.

Can I share these images online or on social media?

Yes! Once your final portraits are delivered, they’re yours to use both personally and professionally. 

What’s the AI 101 Processing Booklet?

It’s my beginner-friendly guide to using your portraits within AI image generators. You’ll learn how to safely upload, prompt, and refine results while keeping your visual integrity intact. It’s an add on or free depending on your photo session.
